Photovoltaic module fraud classification

- Mar 18, 2022-

1. Refurbishment of photovoltaic modules

Where there is interest, there are unscrupulous manufacturers. Unscrupulous manufacturers polish, refurbish, and repackage some recycled components and sell them to installers. Some of these installers know about it and some don't, but the inferior components eventually fall to ordinary users along with the sales chain. In the hands of people, photovoltaic power plants built with inferior components have large-scale safety and quality problems, low power generation efficiency, and even the risk of fire and lightning strikes.

2. defective components

In the production process of photovoltaic modules, there will be a certain defective rate. Under normal circumstances, these defective components should be sold to the recycling plant at a reserve price, and the recycling plant will process and extract the available raw materials before turning to the manufacturing process.

3. Insufficient power

The power of some photovoltaic modules is 260w, but in fact it may only be 240w. There are still many components with insufficient power. Such components will affect the results of designing photovoltaic power plants, causing the power generation of the power station to be lower than expected. When buying photovoltaic modules, you must buy certified modules, and you must buy modules from regular manufacturers.

4. Other inferior components

Deck components, outdated components are put on new labels, such a thing is probably encountered. There is also poor workmanship of components with interlayers, virtual welding, etc.

Inferior photovoltaic modules are harmful, and it is not only the work of the national government to crack down on low-quality modules. As ordinary consumers, we must also be vigilant and not be greedy to buy modules sold through informal channels, so that unscrupulous merchants have no chance.
