Solar greenhouses are built according to the principle of the greenhouse effect.
The long-wave radiation emitted after the temperature rises in the greenhouse can block the heat or very little heat is lost to the outside through the glass or plastic film. The heat loss in the greenhouse is mainly through convection and heat conduction. If people take measures such as sealing and insulation, this part of heat loss can be reduced.
If a heat storage device is installed indoors, this part of the excess heat can be stored.
In the solar greenhouse at night, when there is no solar radiation, the greenhouse will still emit heat to the outside world. At this time, the greenhouse is in a cooling state. In order to reduce heat dissipation, an insulation layer should be added to the outside of the greenhouse at night. If there is a heat storage device in the greenhouse, the heat stored during the day can be released at night to ensure the lowest humidity in the greenhouse at night.
In northern China, the solar greenhouse can also be combined with a biogas utilization device to increase the pool temperature and increase the gas production rate. For example, the Trinity Solar Greenhouse in Northeast China, designed and constructed by Dezhou Huayuan New Energy Co., Ltd., includes functions such as solar greenhouse planting, biogas heating, and residential heating, bringing comfort and warmth to winter life in the northern region.
