Disneyland Paris has revealed that a third of its 17MW solar car park project is in operation.
The project is being built by French developer Urbasolar, with full final completion scheduled for 2023. After completion, it is expected to produce 31 GWh of electricity annually, which will be able to meet about 17% of the electricity demand of this theme park. Some of the installations will light up at night, with the shape of Mickey Mouse's head visible from above.
