Recently, the German Federal Network Agency officially announced that as of February 2025, the net installed capacity of German photovoltaic systems has increased to about 1.535GW. According to statistics from authoritative agencies, the data reflects the situation in the market master data register as of March 13, and takes into account a 10% flat rate surcharge to reflect the expected overdue registration. The authorities have fully considered the actual situation that a large number of new photovoltaic systems are still being registered.
Therefore, as of March 13, 2025, the actual net increase in registration should be 1.398GW. At the same time, the authorities have further adjusted the installed capacity data for January 2025, and the final data is 1.243GW, which is 10% higher than the original data (including the 10% price increase). In February 2025, Germany's photovoltaic installations were also significantly higher than the same period in 2024, when the installed capacity was 1.2GW.
As of now, the total installed capacity of photovoltaic systems in Germany has reached about 102GW.
